A method is disclosed for generating a wellsite design, comprising: designing a workflow for an Earth Model; building an initial Earth Model based on the workflow adapted for modeling drilling and completions operations in a hydrocarbon reservoir; calibrating the initial Earth Model thereby generating a calibrated Earth Model; and generating the wellsite design using the calibrated Earth Model.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de générer un plan d'emplacement de puits, qui consiste : à mettre au point un flux de travaux permettant d'obtenir un modèle de terrain; à construire, à partir du flux de travaux, un modèle de terrain initial conçu pour modéliser les opérations de forage et de complétion dans un réservoir d'hydrocarbures; à étalonner le modèle de terrain initial, ce qui permet de générer un modèle de terrain étalonné; et à générer le plan d'emplacement de puits à l'aide du modèle de terrain étalonné.
