The use of a radionuclide to prepare a diagnostic reagent is provided for use in a method to assess the functional integrity of a mucosal membrane, comprising: (a) locally administering a dosage of a radionuclide to the surface of a mucosal membrane of a mammal; and (b) employing dynamic scintigraphy to measure the absorption of the radionuclide into the bloodstream of the mammal.

L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'un radionucléotide pour la préparation d'un réactif de diagnostic, lequel radionucléotide est destiné à être utilisé dans un procédé d'évaluation de l'intégrité fonctionnelle d'une muqueuse, consistant: (a) à administrer une dose de nucléotide de façon locale sur la surface d'une muqueuse de mammifère; et (b) à utiliser la scintigraphie dynamique pour mesurer l'absorption du radionucléotide dans la circulation sanguine dudit mammifère.
