A method of producing a structural component (12) from a primary wall structure (14) which defines a plurality of juxtaposed primary cells (15) which extend between and which are open to the front face and the rear face of the component (12) and a secondary wall structure (16) within the primary wall structure (14) which divides each primary cell (15) into two or more subcells (151, 152) comprises first forming the primary wall structure (14) and then forming the secondary wall structure (16) within the primary wall structure (14) by bringing the primary wall structure (14) into a condition in which it lies within a body of liquid, the surface of which provides or is provided with a photosensitive layer and in which the photosensitive layer is at a predetermined level in each primary cell (15) and exposing the photosensitive layer to radiation source to bring the photosensitive layer to a consolidated state within the primary wall structure (14) to form the secondary wall structure (16). Where the component (12) is a noise attenuation panel, the secondary wall structure (16) may be so formed as to provide for the required sound absorption properties while providing substantially no support for structural loads.
Procédé de production d'un composant (12) structurel à partir d'une première structure (14) de paroi déterminant une pluralité de premières cellules (15) juxtaposées qui s'étendent entre la face antérieure et la face postérieure du composant (12) et sont ouvertes entre ces deux faces, et d'une seconde structure (16) de paroi située à l'intérieur de la première structure (14) de paroi et divisant chaque première cellule (15) en deux sous-cellules (151, 152) ou davantage, ce procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à former d'abord la première structure (14) de paroi, puis à former la seconde structure (16) de paroi dans ladite première structure (14) en plaçant celle-ci (14) de manière à ce qu'elle repose dans le corps d'un liquide dont la surface constitue une couche photosensible ou est constituée de cette couche, laquelle se situe à un niveau prédéterminé dans chaque première cellule (15), et enfin à exposer cette couche photosensible à une source de rayonnement afin de consolider l'état de celle-ci dans la première structure (14) de paroi afin de former la seconde structure (16) de paroi. Le composant (12) constitue un panneau d'atténuation du bruit et on peut former la seconde structure (16) de paroi de manière à la doter des propriétés requises d'absorption des sons sans que celle-ci n'ait pratiquement pas à fournir de support de charges structurales.
