Orthotopic total artificial heart intended to replace one or the two blood chambers of the human heart, consisting in a new design for the two blood chambers which are assembled in an original space arrangement relationship between each other and between their inlet doors and outlet doors. Said design is a significant improvement in the use of the space which is available within the interior mediastinum with respect to prior models, thereby providing the required anatomical adequacy.
