The invention relates to a positioning device (40) for positioning a person's head for examining and/or treating the eyes, comprising a part against which the forehead rests (41) and a part on which the chin rests (43), and a unit for covering the eye sockets (24) which can be mounted on and removed from elements (50a, 50b) of the positioning device, preferably without the use of tools. This unit for covering the eye sockets (24) has an eye socket flap (25) which can be swung round in front of the socket of the eye not being examined or treated. According to a preferred embodiment, a support unit (71) with a surface on which the doctor can rest his or her little finger and/or the ball of his or her thumb is also provided. This support unit (71) is positioned especially on the fixing elements (50a, 50b) of the positioning device (40) which sustain the part against which the forehead rests (41). The inventive positioning device enables the doctor to carry out eye examinations and/or treatments simply and easily.
L'invention concerne un dispositif (40) pour positionner la tête d'un être humain pour l'examen et/ou le traitement des yeux, ledit dispositif comprenant une partie d'appui (41) pour le front et une partie d'appui (43) pour le menton, ainsi qu'une unité de recouvrement (24) de l'orbite, pouvant être montée, de préférence sans utilisation d'outils, sur des éléments (50a, 50b) du dispositif de positionnement et pouvant être retirée de ces éléments de la même façon. L'unité de recouvrement de l'orbite comporte un volet (25), qui peut pivoter contre l'orbite de l'oeil non examiné ou non traité. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention, il est en outre prévu une unité de support (71) comportant une surface d'appui pour le petit doigt et/ou l'éminence thénar de la main du médecin. Cette unité de support (71) est montée en particulier sur les éléments de bâti (50a, 50b) du dispositif de positionnement (40) pour fixer la partie d'appui (41) pour le front. Le dispositif selon l'invention permet au médecin d'effectuer des examens et/ou des traitements de façon simple.
