The invention provides an apparatus for sand-blasting the inner walls of bores, tubes, pipes and the like, comprising a housing with a first tube member for feeding blasting material and a second tube member for feeding pressurized air. The sec- ond tube member is provided with a curved end portion, the ori- fice thereof being located beyond the outlet opening of the first tube member. The second tube member, together with its end portion, is rotatable around the central longitudinal axis of the first tube member. Thus, the stream of blasting material escaping from the outlet of the first tube member is deflected and accelerated under the influence of the stream of pressur- ized air escaping from the curved end portion of the second tube member. Due to the provision of such a touchless deflec- tion, the wear of the apparatus can be substantially reduced.
L'invention a trait à un dispositif de sablage au jet des parois intérieures des alésages, des tubes, des tuyaux, etc., comprenant un boîtier muni d'un premier élément tubulaire pour l'alimentation en matériau de sablage et un deuxième élément tubulaire pour l'alimentation en air sous pression. Le deuxième élément tubulaire comporte une extrémité recourbée, dont l'orifice est situé au-delà de l'ouverture de sortie du premier élément tubulaire. Le deuxième élément tubulaire, ainsi que son extrémité, peut tourner autour de l'axe central longitudinal du premier élément tubulaire. De cette façon, le jet de matériau de sablage s'échappant par la sortie du premier élément tubulaire est dévié et accéléré par le jet d'air sous pression s'échappant de l'extrémité recourbée du deuxième élément tubulaire. En raison de la présence d'une telle déviation sans contact, l'usure du dispositif peut être considérablement réduite.
