An apparatus (2) for grinding welding electrodes, in particular wolfram electrodes, and comprising a drive motor (4) for a rotating grinding disc (8) and means adapted for fixing a welding electrode in a certain angle in relation to the grinding disc (8), where said fixing means comprising a displaceable apparatus part (24) parallel with the plane of the grinding disc in a fixed guiding (32), which apparatus part (24) is provided with two mutually displaced insertion openings (26, 30) or insertion positions for an electrode holder (20), namely a first insertion opening (26) or position in front of an arched angle scale (28) being provided or placed on the outside of a housing (6), and a second insertion opening (30) or position situated and adapted to fix the electrode parallel with the plane of the grinding disc (8) with the point engaging the upper part of the periphery of the grinding disc, and where the grinding disc (8) is positioned in a grinding house (6) preferably built together with said drive motor (4), said housing (6) being closed with a preferably transparent wall part (14), and being adapted to be filled with a grinding fluid, preferably water.
La présente invention concerne un appareil à meuler les électrodes de soudure, en particulier les électrodes au tungstène. Cet appareil comprend un moteur (4) mettant un disque abrasif (8) en rotation, et un dispositif permettant de fixer l'électrode de soudure selon un certain angle par rapport au disque abrasif (8). Le dispositif de fixation est constitué d'une pièce mécanique (24) pouvant se déplacer dans un organe de guidage fixe (32) parallèlement au plan du disque abrasif. Cette pièce mécanique (24) présente deux orifices ou postes d'insertion (26, 30) espacés l'un de l'autre et permettant l'insertion d'un porte-électrode (20). Le premier orifice, ou poste (26), se situe en face d'un cadran gradué (28) de forme arrondie installé ou placé sur l'extérieur d'une enceinte (6). Le second orifice ou poste d'insertion (30), est disposé ou adapté de façon à fixer l'électrode parallèlement au plan du disque abrasif (8), le contact se faisant en un point supérieur du pourtour du disque abrasif. Ce disque abrasif (8) est logé dans une enceinte de meulage (6) construite en une seule pièce avec le moteur d'entraînement (4). Cette enceinte (6), qui se ferme au moyen d'une partie paroi (14) de préférence transparente, est conçue pour être remplie d'un fluide de meulage, de préférence de l'eau.
