An improvement in a small motor is provided herein. Such improvement comprises a casing having an end section. A rotatable shaft support member is provided having a top surface, a bottom surface and side walls defining a cavity with a lower surface. The lower surface has a generally-cylindrical bore integrally-formed therein, with side walls and a bottom defining a shaft-receiving bearing portion, with the side walls of the rotatable shaft support member being affixed to an end section of the casing. The rotatable shaft support member is integrally-formed from a resinous material having lubricating properties, thereby eliminating the need for oil for lubrication of said shaft. A rotatable shaft is provided having an end engaging the bearing portion. A rotor is coupled to the shaft and a stator surrounds the roter. At least one hole is provided in the rotatable shaft support member adjacent to the bearing portion, the hole having a diverging portion. A lead wire passes through the hole, and an adhesive is provided in the diverging portion to secure the lead wire in the hole.
Un dispositif permettant de supporter un arbre rotatif comprenant un nombre réduit d'éléments est facile à assembler et a des dimensions précises. Il permet d'installer un moteur de petite taille. Le dispositif support comprend une potence (2) de forme sensiblement circulaire, une paroi périphérique (3) et une section palier (4) formée en monobloc avec la potence, de façon à supporter en son centre l'extrémité de l'arbre rotatif d'un rotor. La section palier (4) comporte un trou (41) destiné à recevoir l'arbre rotatif. Le trou (41) présente une surface interne (42) qui entre en contact avec l'arbre rotatif, et une face inférieure (43) qui entre en contact avec la face terminale de l'arbre rotatif. Le corps principal (2), qui comporte une paire de trous traversants (5) permettant de faire passer des fils de connexion, est fabriqué par moulage par injection d'un polymère à cristaux liquides.
