The invention relates to a method and a device for the maintenance of a lift or escalator installation (12), said device comprising an interface (14) for connecting to a control system (19) of the installation (12), a display and operating device (11) for displaying operating parameters or for inputting control commands, and a data connection device (15, 17) for establishing a data connection (16) to a central maintenance unit (13). Data and parameters of the installation (12) stored in the central maintenance unit (13) can be transmitted to the display and operating unit (11) by means of the data connection, following an identification check. A failure log specifying operating errors and/or the replacement parts necessary for correcting the operating error can be produced according to a comparison between operating parameters and transmitted data and parameters. Said failure log is transmitted to the central maintenance unit (13) via the data connection (16), for example, to enable missing replacement parts to be ordered.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour assurer la maintenance d'un système d'ascenseur ou d'escalier mécanique (12) qui présente une interface (14) destinée à être raccordée à un dispositif de commande (19) du système (12) et une unité d'affichage et de commande (11) servant à afficher des paramètres de fonctionnement ou servant à entrer des instructions de commande et une unité de liaison de données (15, 17) servant à établir une liaison de données (16) vers un central de maintenance (13). Cette liaison de données (16) permet de transmettre des données et des paramètres du système (12), stockés dans le central de maintenance (13), à l'unité d'affichage et de commande (11), après une vérification d'identification. En fonction d'une comparaison effectuée entre les paramètres de fonctionnement et les données et paramètres transmis, il est possible d'établir un protocole d'erreurs spécifiant la nature de la panne et/ou les pièces à changer pour réparer la panne. Ce protocole est envoyé par l'intermédiaire de la liaison de données (16) au central de maintenance (13), par exemple pour permettre de commander les pièces de rechange manquantes.
