A process for converting an oxygenate to an olefin-containing product, wherein oxygenate is contacted with an oxygenate conversion catalyst in a reactor system comprising two or more serially arranged riser reactor stages to obtain a riser reactor effluent from each stage, wherein each riser reactor stage comprises a single riser reactor or a plurality of parallel riser reactors, such that at least part of the riser reactor effluent of a preceding riser reactor stage is fed into a subsequent riser reactor stage, and wherein oxygenate is added to a plurality of the riser reactor stages; and a reactor system comprising two or more serially arranged riser reactor stages wherein the first of the two or more serially arranged riser reactor stages has a smaller total cross-sectional area than at least one of the subsequent riser reactor stages.
L'invention concerne un procédé de conversion d'un oxygénate en un produit contenant des oléfines, dans lequel l'oxygénate est mis en contact avec un catalyseur de conversion d'oxygénate dans un système de réaction qui comprend deux ou plusieurs étages de réacteur ascendant agencés en série de manière à obtenir de chaque étage un effluent de réacteur ascendant. Chaque étage de réacteur ascendant comprend un unique réacteur ascendant ou plusieurs réacteurs ascendants disposés en parallèle de telle sorte qu'au moins une partie de l'effluent du réacteur ascendant d'un étage précédent de réacteur ascendant soit introduit dans un étage suivant de réacteur ascendant.
