A resin composition comprises an EVOH (A) and a thermoplastic polymer (B) having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of boronic acid group, borinic acid group and boron-containing groups convertible into boronic acid group or borinic acid group in the presence of water. The composition may further comprise a thermoplastic polymer (C) other than (A) or (B). The resin compositions thus obtained have good compatibility and give molded products having superior transparency and good mechanical properties.

Une composition pour résine renferme un EVOH (A) et un polymère thermoplastique (B) comptant au moins un groupe fonctionnel, choisi parmi un acide boronique, un acide borinique et des groupes borés convertibles en acide boronique ou en acide borinique en présence d'eau. La composition peut également renfermer un polymère thermoplastique (C) autre que (A) ou (B). Les compositions pour résine ainsi produites ont de bonnes qualités de compatibilité et donnent des produits moulés possédant une transparence supérieure et de bonnes propriétés mécaniques.
