An apparatus for wrapping a load on a pallet comprises a wrapping panel which is elongate so that the length of the panel is slightly greater than the full periphery of the load when the panel is wrapped horizontally around the load. The width of the panel is approximately equal to and slightly less than the height of the load. Along a top edge of the panel is attached a first strap which is wrapped around the load and buckled tight. Along a bottom edge of the wrapping panel is provided a second strap similarly engaged around the bottom of the load and an intermediate strap is also provided. A cover panel which is square has one side edge stitched to a top edge of the wrapping panel approximately midway therealong with the sides of the cover panel approximately 1/3 of the length of the wrapping panel. The cover panel is engaged over the top surface of the load with the edges turned down along the sides of the load. The wrapping panel is engaged around the load and the top strap traps the side edges of the cover panel to hold the structure in place on the load.
