Compositions comprising chromic tripicolinate in combination with at least one of a cyclooxygenase inhibitor, acid, mucolytic and salicin-containing herb, or in combination with picolinic acid, nicotinic acid, or both, or in combination with picolinic acid, nicotinic acid, or both, and at least one of a cyclooxygenase inhibitor, acid, mucolytic and salicin-containing herb. The compositions may be enteric-coated. The compositions are useful for supplementing dietary chromium, lowering blood glucose levels, lowering serum lipid levels and increasing lean body mass.

Compositions comprenant du tripicolinate de chrome en combinaison avec au moins l'un des composés ci-après : inhibiteur de cyclo-oxygénase, acide, herbe mucolytique et contenant de la salicine, ou en combinaison avec l'acide picolinique, l'acide nicotinique ou les deux, ou en combinaison avec l'acide picolinique, l'acide nicotinique, ou les deux, et au moins l'un des composés ci-après : inhibiteur de cyclo-oxygénase, acide, herbe mucolytique et contenant de la salicine. Les compositions peuvent être à délitage entérique. Les compositions sont utilisées pour l'apport complémentaire de chrome alimentaire, pour l'abaissement des teneurs en glucose dans le sang, l'abaissement des teneurs en lipide dans le sérum et l'accroissement de la masse maigre de l'organisme.
