The present invention is to provide a medical composition for the treatment or prophylaxis of diseases caused by angiogenesis of eyes which comprises a compound represented by the following formula (I): (see formula I) wherein R1 represents a C1-C6 alkyl group or halogeno-C1-C6alkyl group, R2 represents a carboxyl group which may be protected, and Y represents a group represented by the formula (II): (see formula II) wherein Z represents CH or nitrogen atom, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient.

Linvention concerne une composition pharmaceutique pour la prévention ou le traitement de maladies associées à la vascularisation des yeux, qui comprend, comme principe actif, un composé benzazépinone de formule structurale (I) ou son sel pharmacologiquement acceptable. Dans ladite formule, R1 représente un groupe alkyle C1-C6, ou un groupe halogéno-alkyle C1-C6; R2 représente un groupe carboxy éventuellement protégé; et Y représente un groupe de formule générale (I) dans laquelle Z représente CH ou un atome d'azote.
