Filter arrangements include a barrier media in the form of fluted media treated with a deposit of fine fibers. The media is particularly advantageous in high temperature (greater than 140 to 240 ~F) systems. Such systems may include engine systems, gas turbine systems, and fuel cell systems. Filter arrangements may take the form of media packs having a circular cross-section or a racetrack shaped cross-section, or media packs formed in a panel configuration.

Cette invention concerne des dispositifs de filtration comprenant un papier d'arrêt de type à cannelures traité au moyen d'un dépôt de fibres fines. Ce papier filtrant convient tout particulièrement bien pour les systèmes hautes températures (au-dessus de 140-240 ·F). Il peut s'agir de systèmes pour moteurs, de systèmes pour turbines à gaz et de systèmes pour piles à combustibles. Ces dispositifs de filtration peuvent se présenter sous la forme de couches de papier de section circulaire ou en de section en I, ou bien sous la forme de panneaux plats.
