A method and a device for wiping, wherein, using two types of wipers; reciprocatingly oscillating wipers (1) and rotary wipers (4), in normal volume of rain, the reciprocatingly oscillating wipers are operated to wipe off rain and, in a volume of rain exceeding the limit of wiping capacity of the reciprocatingly oscillating wipers, the rotary wipers are operated to wipe off rain after the reciprocatingly oscillating wipers have been stopped at specified positions, whereby, even in a heavy rain-fall of 50 mm or more, the visibility of an operator can be assured satisfactorily.

Cette invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif d'essuyage qui font appel à deux types d'essuie-glaces, savoir des essuie-glaces oscillant selon un mouvement de va-et-vient (1) et des essuie-glaces rotatifs (4). Dans le cas de précipitations d'un volume normal, on actionne les essuie-glaces oscillant selon un mouvement de va-et-vient afin d'essuyer la pluie. Dans le cas de précipitations dont le volume dépasse la capacité d'essuyage des essuie-glaces oscillant selon un mouvement de va-et-vient, on actionne les essuie-glaces rotatifs afin d'essuyer la pluie après avoir arrêté les essuie-glaces oscillant selon un mouvement de va-et-vient en des positions prédéterminées. Ainsi, même dans le cas de fortes précipitations de 50 mm ou plus, on assure une visibilité satisfaisante pour l'opérateur.
