The invention concerns polyesters of at least one of polyhydroxylated compounds at least partly acylated, belonging the group consisting of polyhydroxylated compounds constituted by glycerol polycarbonates, specific polyglycerols, [(a-hydroxymethyl) oxyethylene/(a-hydroxymethyl) ethylene carbonate] copolymers, [(a-hydroxymethyl) oxyethylene/(a-hydroxymethyl) ethylene carbonate] copolymers, [(a- alkyl) oxyethylene/(a-hydroxyalkyl) oxyethylene] copolymers. The invention also concerns a method for acylating at least partly one of said polyhydroxylated compounds. The invention is applicable to the technical fields relating to engine and industrial lubricants, greases, hydraulic fluids, metal deformation and processing lubricants, stripping and mold dressing products, oil prospecting, mines, tunnel borers, cosmetics, detergency, inks, textile coatings and papers, to the field of food products, to the protection of wood as synthesis intermediates.
L'invention concerne les polyesters de l'un au moins des composés polyhydroxylés au moins partiellement acylés, appartenant au groupe constitué par les composés polyhydroxylés que sont les polycarbonates de glycérol, les polyglycérols spécifiques, les copolymères [ (.alpha.-hydroxyméthyl) oxyéthylène/ (.alpha.-hydroxyméthyl) éthylène carbonate] , les copolymères [ (.alpha.-hydroxyalkyl) oxyéthylène/ (.alpha.-alkyl) éthylène carbonate], les copolymères [ (.alpha.- alkyl) oxyéthylène/ (.alpha.-hydroxyalkyl) oxyéthylène] . L'invention concerne également un procédé d~ acylation au moins partiel de l'un au moins des composés polyhydroxylés précités. L'invention s'applique aux domaines techniques relatifs aux lubrifiants moteurs et industriels, les graisses, aux fluides hydrauliques, aux lubrifiants de déformation et du travail des métaux, aux produits de démoulage et de poteyage, à l'exploration pétrolière, aux mines, aux tunneliers, à la cosmétique, à la détergence, aux encres, aux revêtements textiles et papiers, au domaine de l'alimentation à la protection du bois et comme intermédiaires de synthèse.
