A group of proteins which are associated with T cell activation are disclosed, as are the nucleic acid molecules encoding them. Various uses of these materials are also discussed, such as in determining presence or absence of aberrant forms of APC protein. This determination can be used to determine predisposition toward colorectal cancer, or as a diagnosis of this condition. The nucleic acid molecules encoding these proteins are also disclosed.
