The temperature in the lower portion of the fluidized bed contained in the reactor is adjusted to be 4 to 30°C higher than the temperature in the upper portion of the fluidized bed. The fluidizing gas is caused to floor into the reactor at a velocity of 30 to 200 m/sec.
