A self-contained portable/mountable air cleaner is disclosed. The air cleaner includes an elongated body containing the air cleaner unit with an integral carrying handle extending from one side of the elongated body and supporting/mounting feet extending from an opposite side of the elongated body. The supporting/mounting feet enable the elongated body to be rested on a supporting surface or facilitate the mounting of the elongated body to a ceiling or wall structure.
