The invention relates to a medium for analytic and preparative electrophoresis comprising a content of acids and bases of different pKa values. Said medium contains at least two acids, whose pKa values (.DELTA.pKa) of adjacent acids are no greater than 1.0 but preferably range from 0.8 to 0.5, and contains at least two bases, whose pKa values range from approximately 1.5 to 11, whereby the difference from the pKa values (.DELTA.pKa) of adjacent bases is no greater than 1.0 but preferably ranges from 0.8 to 0.5.

L'invention concerne une substance utilisée pour les électrophorèses analytiques et expérimentales, à teneur en acides et en bases de différentes valeurs de pK¿s?. Cette substance contient au moins 2 acides dont les valeurs de pK¿s? (delta pK¿s?) d'acides adjacents ne dépassent pas 1 et se situent de préférence entre 0,8 et 0,5, et au moins deux bases dont les valeurs de pK¿s? se situent entre approximativement 1,5 et 11. La différence des valeurs de pK¿s? (delta pK¿s?) de bases adjacentes ne dépasse pas 1 et se situe de préférence entre 0,8 et 0,5.
