The present invention relates to a two-part antimicrobial composition comprising at least one chlorine dioxide generating component comprising at least one metal chlorite and at least one acid-forming compound in a solid carrier, and at least one liquid aqueous component. The composition further comprises at least one antimicrobial fatty acid having from about 2 to about 15 carbon atoms, and preferably from about 6 to about 12 carbon atoms. The components, upon mixing, form a composition having a pH in the range of about 5 to about 10.
L'invention concerne une composition antimicrobienne en deux parties qui comprend au moins un constituant générant du bioxyde de chlore qui contient au moins une chlorite de métal et au moins un composé formant un acide dans un support solide, et au moins un constituant aqueux liquide. Cette composition comprend également au moins un acide gras antimicrobien possédant environ 2 à 15 atomes de carbone, et de préférence environ 6 à 12 atomes de carbone. Ces composants, après mélange, forment une composition possédant un pH compris dans la plage d'environ 5 à 10.
