A tunable toolholder (10) with a dynamic vibration absorber wherein an absorber mass (30) is compressed between two resilient supports (40 and 45) utilizing at least one longitudinally movable pressure plate (50 or 55) to dynamically tune the toolholder. The pressure plate (50 or 55) is displaced by an adjustment screw (75) extending through the front face of a toolholder head (60) removably mounted at one end of the toolholder (10).

L'invention concerne un porte-outil accordable (10) doté d'un amortisseur de vibrations dynamique, caractérisé en ce qu'une masse d'absorbeur (30) est compressée entre deux supports souples (40 et 45) au moyen d'au moins une plaque de pression à déplacement longitudinal (50 ou 55) de manière à permettre l'accordement dynamique du porte-outil. La plaque de pression (50 ou 55) est déplacée par l'intermédiaire d'une vis de réglage (75) s'étendant à travers la face avant de la tête (60) du porte-outil, laquelle vis est montée de manière amovible sur une extrémité du porte-outil (10).
