A process for producing polyester articles, which generates little or no polyester waste. The process provides esterification or transesterification of one or more dicarboxylic acids or their dialkyl esters, polycondensation to produce a high molecular weight polyester, and molding or shaping of the polyester for produce the desired product. Scrap produced during the molding process is recycled back to the esterification or transesterification or polycondensation portion of the process. Optionally, the scrap may also be recycled to intermediate steps prior to the molding operation.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'articles en polyester, qui produit peu ou pas de déchets de polyester. Le procédé comporte les étapes d'estérification ou de transestérification d'un ou de plusieurs acides dicarboxyliques ou de leurs esters dialcoylés; de polycondensation pour produire un polyester de poids moléculaire élevé; et de moulage ou de façonnage du polyester pour obtenir le produit voulu. Les déchets produits au cours du processus de moulage sont recyclés en retour vers l'étape d'estérification, de transestérification ou de polycondensation du processus. Eventuellement, les déchets peuvent également être recyclés vers des étapes intermédiaires antérieures à l'opération de moulage.
