A novel transdermal system for the percutaneous delivery of a hormone, including a carrier and an adhesive matrix, is disclosed. The matrix includes (a) 20-50 parts by weight of a poly(styrene-isoprene-styrene) triblock copolymer, (b) 30-60 parts by weight of a tackifier resin, (c) 4-25 parts by weight of propylene glycol laurate, (d) 2-10 parts by weight of a compound selected from N-alkyl-2-pyrrolidones, wherein the alkyl group is a C4-15 group, (e) 0.01-2 parts by weight of a stabilising agent, (f) 0.1-12 parts by weight of at least one hormone selected from the group consisting of oestrogenic and progestogenic components, and (g) 1-12 parts by weight of a vinyl acetate/N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone copolymer. A method for preparing said system and the therapeutical use thereof are also disclosed.

La présente invention concerne un nouveau système transdermique pour l'administration percutanée d'une hormone, ledit système matriciel, qui comporte un support et une matrice adhésive, étant caractérisé en ce que ladite matrice comprend: (a) 20 à 50 parties en poids d'un copolymère tribloc poly(styrène-isoprène-styrène), (b) 30 à 60 parties en poids d'une résine tackifiante, (c) 4 à 25 parties en poids de laurate de propylèneglycol, (d) 2 à 10 parties en poids d'un composé choisi parmi les N-alkyl-2-pyrrolidones dans lesquelles le groupe alkyl est un groupe en C¿4?-C¿15?, (e) 0,01 à 2 parties en poids d'un agent stabilisant, (f) 0,1 à 12 parties en poids d'au moins une hormone choisie parmi l'ensemble constitué par les composants oestrogènes et les composants progestatifs, (g) 1 à 12 parties en poids d'un copolymère d'acétate de vinyle et de N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone. Elle concerne également un procédé pour la préparation de ce système, et son utilisation en thérapeutique.
