The invention provides drugs which exhibit excellent antibacterial activity, low toxicity, improved bioavailability, and low degrees of plasma protein binding. Pyridonecarboxylic acid derivatives represented by the general formula (1) or salts thereof; and antibacterial agents or medicines, containing the same. The general formula (1) wherein R1 is methyl, fluoro, or chloro; R2 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; R3 is isopropyl or tert-butyl; R4 is methyl or halogeno; and R5 is fluoro or chloro.

L~invention concerne des médicaments qui présentent une excellente activité antibactérienne, une faible toxicité, une biodisponibilité améliorée et un faible degré de liaison aux protéines plasmatiques. L~invention a trait à des dérivés de l~acide pyridonecarboxylique, représentés par la formule générale (1) ou des sels de ceux-ci ; ainsi qu~à des agents ou médicaments antibactériens contenant ces mêmes éléments : (1) dans laquelle R1 est méthyle, fluoro ou chloro ; R2 est hydrogène ou alkyle inférieur ; R3 est isopropyle ou tert-butyle ; R4 est méthyle ou halogéno ; et R5 est fluoro ou chloro.
