A hybrid drive system for a four-wheel drive system arranged to supply motive power to a transfer case (20) from an internal combustion engine (12) and/or an electric motor (22). The transfer case is comprised of a planetary gearset (56) having a first input (82) driven by the motor/generator, a second input (80) driven by the engine, and an output (88) directing drive torque to the front and rear drivelines. The output of the planetary gearset drives a rear output shaft (50) connected to the rear driveline and further drives a front output shaft (40) connected to the front driveline. The transfer case further includes a second planetary gearset (58) having an input (112) driven by the motor/generator and an output (116) driving the first input of the first planetary gearset. This hybrid drive arrangement permits use of a modified transfer case in place of a conventional transfer case in a traditional four- wheel drive driveline.
L'invention concerne un système d'entraînement hybride pour une transmission intégrale, conçu pour fournir une force motrice à une boîte de transfert (20) à partir d'un moteur à combustion interne (12) et/ou d'un moteur/générateur électrique (22). Cette boîte de transfert comprend un train planétaire (56) présentant une première entrée (82) entraînée par le moteur/générateur électrique, une deuxième entrée (80) entraînée par le moteur à combustion interne, et une sortie (88) acheminant un couple d'entraînement aux trains de transmission avant et arrière. La sortie du train planétaire entraîne un arbre de sortie arrière (50) raccordé au train de transmission arrière et entraîne en outre un arbre de sortie avant (40) raccordé au train de transmission avant. Cette boîte de transfert comprend en outre un deuxième train planétaire (58) qui présente une entrée (112) entraînée par le moteur/générateur électrique et une sortie (116) qui entraîne la première entrée du premier train planétaire. Cet ensemble d'entraînement hybride permet d'utiliser une boîte de transfert modifiée à la place d'une boîte de transfert classique dans une transmission intégrale traditionnelle.
