The invention relates to the field of process engineering and relates to a method and a device such as can be used, for example, for the disintegration of sewage sludges. The object of the present invention is to disclose a method in which the dynamic viscosity of the thixotropic suspensions is reduced before and/or during the ultrasonic treatment. The object is attained with a method in which thixotropic suspensions are subjected to a mechanical stress and subsequently fed to an ultrasonic treatment, wherein at least one further suspension flow with a higher flow rate is fed to the suspension flow before the ultrasonic treatment. The object is further attained through a device composed of a pipeline system with an apparatus part for applying a mechanical stress subsequently an ultrasonic generator and openings in the pipeline are present before and after the region with the ultrasonic generators through which openings are connected via a further pipeline.

La présente invention concerne le domaine de la technique des procédés et concerne un procédé et un dispositif comme ceux qui peuvent être par exemple employés pour la désintégration de boues résiduaires. Le but de la présente invention est de proposer un procédé au cours duquel on abaisse la viscosité dynamique des suspensions thixotropes avant et/ou pendant le traitement par ultrasons. Ce but est atteint grâce à un procédé au cours duquel les suspensions thixotropes sont soumises à une charge mécanique et ensuite à un traitement par ultrasons. Avant le traitement par ultrasons, on ajoute à l'écoulement de suspension au moins un autre écoulement de suspension ayant un débit plus rapide. Le but de l'invention est en outre atteint grâce à un dispositif constitué d'un système de conduite comprenant une partie de dispositif destinée à appliquer une charge mécanique après un générateur d'ultrasons. Avant et après la zone des générateurs d'ultrasons, on trouve des ouvertures dans la conduite qui sont reliées à une autre conduite.
