A multilayered apertured film wrapping element for an absorbent article is disclosed. At least one outer layer of the fluid-impervious plastic material has a continuous phase of a thermoplastic polymeric component and an immiscible, dispersed phase of a thermoplastic polymeric component having a lower melting point. The wrapping element is useful in applications involving heat sealing and similar thermal processes in absorbent articles, such as sanitary napkins, diapers, bandages, tampons, and the like.
La présente invention concerne un élément d'enrobage constitué d'un film ouvert à couches multiples destiné à un article absorbant. Au moins une couche extérieure du matériau plastique étanche aux fluides comporte une phase continue d'un composant polymérique thermoplastique et une phase dispersée, immiscible, d'un composant polymère thermoplastique de point de fusion inférieur. L'élément d'enrobage est utile dans des applications mettant en oeuvre un thermoscellage et des procédés thermiques semblables concernant des articles absorbants tels que des serviettes périodiques, des couches, des bandages, des tampons et des articles du même genre.
