A method of producing gas from an underground formation, which is penetrated by a production well to surface, the method comprising allowing formation fluid comprising gas and liquid to flow into the production well at a production interval; allowing the formation fluid to separate into a gaseous component and a liquid component; producing the gaseous component through the production well to the surface; accumulating the liquid component in the production well so as to form a liquid column having, at a drainage interval of the production well, a pressure exceeding the pressure in the surrounding formation; and allowing liquid from the liquid column at the drainage interval to drain away into the surrounding formation, comprising treating the wall of the production well at the drainage interval and/or treating the formation surrounding the drainage interval so as to increase the flow rate of liquid into the surrounding formation.
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour produire du gaz d'hydrocarbure à partir d'une formation souterraine, à laquelle on accède par un puits de production qui donne sur la surface, le procédé comprenant: le passage du fluide de la formation comprenant du gaz et du liquide par le puits de production à une fréquence correspondant à un intervalle de production; séparation du fluide de la formation en une composante gazeuse et une composante liquide; production de la composante gazeuse grâce à son passage par le puits de production pour atteindre la surface; accumulation de la composante liquide dans le puits de production de façon à former une colonne de liquide ayant, à une fréquence correspondant à un intervalle de drainage du puits de production, une pression qui dépasse la pression de la formation environnante; drainage du liquide issu de la colonne de liquide à une fréquence correspondant à l'intervalle de drainage vers la formation environnante, ledit drainage comprenant le traitement de la paroi du puits de production à une fréquence correspondant à l'intervalle de drainage et/ou traitement de la formation environnante à une fréquence correspondant à l'intervalle de drainage de façon à augmenter le débit de liquide dans la formation environnante.
