A five-piece plastic container for carrying items, such as fruits and vegetables, comprises a bottom piece and four side pieces; each side edge of the bottom piece includes a series of horizontally spaced recessed areas and a horizontally extending integrally formed hinge traversing the recessed area. Each lower edge of the side pieces includes a series of horizontally spaced extensions defining a C-shaped profile which is adapted to be received within a corresponding one of the recessed areas for the assembly of the side pieces to the bottom piece. The profile is configured to enable a snap engagement and disengagement with and from the hinges, allowing the side pieces to be moved between an outward foldback position, an erected position and an inwardly folded position. The disclosure also describes a seven- piece container.
La présente invention vise un contenant de plastique en cinq parties servant au transport d'articles tels que fruits et légumes. Ce contenant se compose d'une partie surbaissée et de quatre volets latéraux; chaque volet latéral du fond surbaissé présente, à égale distance les unes des autres, des zones en retrait sur le plan horizontal traversées par une charnière intégrée faisant saillie sur le plan horizontal. Les segments bas des volets latéraux présentent à leur tour une série d'éléments en extension sur le plan horizontal formant un rebord en C conçu pour se loger dans une des zones en retrait en vue du montage des volets latéraux au fond surbaissé. Ce rebord en C est façonné de manière à permettre par simple pression le blocage et le déblocage des éléments dans les charnières, et par conséquent le réglage des volets latéraux en l'une ou l'autre des trois positions possibles, soit déployés, à la verticale ou repliés vers l'intérieur. L'invention vise également un contenant comportant sept pièces distinctes.
