A REVERSAL IMAGING PROCESS INCLUDING REDOX AMPLIFICATION Abstract of the Disclosure A process is disclosed of forming a reversal dye image. This is accomplished by developing an imagewise exposed photo- graphic element with a black-and-white developer and poisoning the developed silver as a redox amplification catalyst for a peroxide oxidizing agent. The undeveloped silver is then rendered develop- able to form a silver catalyst image pattern. This latter silver image pattern is then used to catalyze the redox reaction of a peroxide oxidizing agent and a dye-image-generating reducing agent, such as a color-developing agent. -1-
