A stackable, heat processable, blow molded, plastic container (10) is disclosed. The container (10) has a body (1) that has top and bottom ends and a tubular sidewall (12). The container also has a dome (13) with a finish (14) having an opening. The dome (13) is connected to the top end of the body and the finish is adapted to engage a first closure. Finally, the container has a base connected to the bottom end of the body. The base is contoured to engage at least a portion of a protrusion on a second closure, thus causing the two containers to be stackable.

L'invention concerne un récipient en plastique (10) empilable, transformable à chaud et moulé par soufflage. Ce récipient (10) est constitué d'un corps (1) comprenant des extrémités supérieure et inférieure et une paroi latérale tubulaire (12). Ce récipient comprend également d'un dôme (13) qui se termine par une bague (14) ouverte. Ce dôme (13) est relié à l'extrémité supérieure du corps et la bague est conçue pour s'adapter à un premier dispositif de fermeture. Le récipient comprend enfin une base reliée à l'extrémité inférieure du corps. La base est profilée pour s'emboîter partiellement dans au moins une partie saillante sur le second dispositif de fermeture pour permettre aux deux récipients de s'empiler.
