2123398 9309716 PCTABS00022 A process is disclosed for measuring the electrical conductivity of body fluids by means of several measurement electrodes applied on various measurement spots of a part of the body for determining electrical resistance values. Measurement is carried out by means of a measurement probe carrying the measurement electrodes. The resistance values detected by the measurement electrodes are sampled and the smallest resistance value is evaluated as reference value for determining the electrical conductivity. The preferably used measurement electrode is characterized in that it has a large number of spot electrodes (3) distributed on the surface (2) of the probe, the spot electrodes having a common earth (5, 8).
