This invention provides a single-point mooring method, advantageously suitable for forming a tanker terminal, in which there are provided a fixed structure anchored to the sea bed, a mooring chain or cable and at least one flexible pipeline, said method enabling the translational and rotational movements of the tanker to. be compensated by rotations of elements connected together. The invention also provides a structural device for the practical implementation of the method, comprising a universal joint, an articulated arm, and a rotatable sleeve.
Cette invention propose une méthode d'amarrage en un point unique convenant avantageusement pour les terminaux pétroliers; celle-ci comporte l'utilisation d'une structure fixe ancrée au plancher océanique, d'une chaîne ou d'un câble d'amarrage, et d'au moins un pipeline flexible. La méthode proposée permet les mouvements de rotation et de translation du navire, lesquels sont compensés par la rotation des éléments entre eux. L'invention propose aussi un dispositif structurel pour la mise en application de la méthode comportant un joint universel, un bras articulé et une gaine tournante.
