La présente invention concerne un agent thérapeutique pouvant être employé dans le traitement de l'herpès génital suite au développement de lésions. Un dérivé de N-[2-[(phényle 4-substitué)amino]-2-oxoéthyl]tétrahydro-2H-thiopyrane-4-carboxamide, où le groupement phényle est substitué en position 4 par un groupement hétéroaryle à 5 ou 6 chaînons, présente une activité anti-virus de l'herpès satisfaisante et permet d'obtenir un effet thérapeutique satisfaisant vis-à-vis de l'herpès génital suite au développement de lésions.
