A hanger for a single snowboard hangs over the top of any standard-size door, allowing the snowboard to hang vertically down the door. A J-shaped bracket hangs over top of the door and supports a two-foot length of nylon webbing which passes through a slot in the bracket, and is secured at one end with a rivet. The second end of the nylon webbing passes through a slot in the top centre of aflat baseplate and into a plastic tri-glide fastener, thus making the length of webbing adjustable. The baseplate has a series of holes drilled across its length, centered vertically. Two mushroom-shaped knobs for supporting the snowboard are screwed into the appropriate holes in the baseplate; the snowboard's width determines which holes the knobs will be screwed into. The series of holes across the baseplate will accommodate any snowboard width. The mushroom knobs should be attached to fit the width of the board about fifteen inches fromone end of the snowboard. As snowboards are wider at the ends and narrower in the middle, this allows the narrow section of the snowboard to slide between theknobs and come to rest on the knobs as the board gets wider toward the tip. Thisallows the snowboard to hang vertically on any standard-size door.
La présente invention a pour objet un suspensoir pour suspendre une planche à neige à la partie supérieure d'une porte standard. Un support en forme de J accroché à la partie supérieure d'une porte et prolongé d'un cordon en nylon de deux pieds de longueur passé à travers une fente pratiquée dans le support et dont l'extrémité est fixée au moyen d'un rivet permet de suspendre la planche neige verticalement devant toute porte de dimensions standard. La deuxième extrémité du cordon de nylon est passée à travers une fente pratiquée à travers le centre d'une plaque de base et enfilée dans une chape coulissante en plastique permettant de régler la longueur du cordon. La plaque de base est percée d'une série de trous sur presque toute sa longueur et centrés verticalement. Deux boutons en forme de champignon doivent être insérés dans ces trous en fonction de la largeur de la planche à une distance d'environ quinze pouces de l'une de ses extrémités. Comme les planches à neige sont plus larges à leurs extrémités et plus étroites en leur centre, cette configuration permet l'insertion de la partie centrale plus étroite de la planche à neige entre les boutons et la suspension verticale de la planche à neige devant toute porte de dimensions standard.
