The invention relates to an elevator system (10) comprising an elevator car (12), a drive mechanism (14), a belt-like transmission means (13) and one or two counterweights. The drive mechanism (14) is stationary and the transmission means is advantageously configured in the form of a V-ribbed belt (13) cooperating with the drive mechanism (14) in order to move the elevator car (12) by transmitting a force in a frictionally engaging manner. The transmission means (belt) may be reinforced with chemical fibers, preferably made of zylon (PBO).
L'invention concerne un système d'ascenseur (10) comportant une cabine d'ascenseur (12), un dispositif d'entraînement (14), un moyen de transmission du type courroie (13) et deux contrepoids. Le dispositif d'entraînement (14) est fixe et le moyen de transmission, qui se présente avantageusement sous la forme d'une courroie trapézoïdale à nervures (13), coopère avec le dispositif d'entraînement (14) pour mettre en mouvement, par friction, la cabine d'ascenseur (12) par transmission d'une force. Le moyen de transmission (courroie) peut être renforcé par des fibres synthétiques, de préférence en Zylon (PBO).
