The "BAGHANDLE" is a multi-purpose tool that consists of a handle (broom like in length) connected to a specially shaped, multi-sided hoop. The hoop is slotted on the side connecting the handle, allowing its overall diameter to be easily adjusted to fit and hold a variety of bags. With the mouth of a bag in place over the hoop, the user simply expands the hoop with the aid of spring tension, and turns the threaded handle to lock the hoop and bag in place. The tool is designed to be used in both a dust pan like fashion, but instead allowing the user to remain standing comfortably erect, and as the highly portable receptacle for that refuse, while accepting both common disposable bags and re-usable types.
