The present invention relates to a method of treating porous stone, comprising contacting porous stone with a composition comprising: (i) a fluorinated oligomer having a weight average molecular weight of not more than 70,000 g/mol and comprising repeating units derived from one or more hydrocarbon monomers and one or more fluorinated monomers represented by the Formula (I): RfXt-E1 wherein Rf represents a perfluorinated aliphatic group having 3 or 4 carbon atoms, X represents a non-fluorinated organic linking group, t is 0 or 1 and E1 represents an ethylenically unsaturated group; and wherein the amount of repeating units derived from said fluorinated monomers is more than 50 mole % of the total amount of repeating units; (ii) a liquid dispersing or dissolving said fluorinated oligomer, said liquid comprising an organic solvent in an amount of at least 70% by weight based on the total amount of liquid; and wherein said fluorinated oligomer is contained in said composition in an amount of 1 to 20% by weight based on the total weight of the composition.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'une pierre poreuse consistant à mettre la pierre poreuse en contact avec une composition contenant: (i) un oligomère fluoré présentant un poids moléculaire moyen en poids n'excédant pas 70000 g/mole et comprenant des unités récurrentes dérivées d'un ou plusieurs monomères hydrocarbonés et d'un ou plusieurs monomères fluorés représentés par la formule (I) RfXt-E1, dans laquelle Rf désigne un groupe aliphatique perfluoré comportant 3 ou 4 atomes de carbone; X désigne un groupe de liaison organique non fluoré; t désigne 0 ou 1; et E1 désigne un groupe aliphatiquement insaturé, la quantité d'unités récurrentes dérivées des monomères fluorés étant supérieure à 50 % en mole de la quantité totale d'unités récurrentes; (ii) un liquide dispersant ou dissolvant l'oligomère fluoré, ledit liquide comprenant au moins 70 % en poids de solvant organique sur la base de la quantité totale de liquide, lequel oligomère fluoré est présent dans cette composition en une quantité comprise entre 1 et 20 % en poids sur la base du poids total de la composition.
