A turning aid nozzle is pivotally mounted adjacent the outlet of a jet pump of a watercraft and provides a quick steering response without requiring an exaggerated effort from the operator or a power steering mechanism. This nozzle includes a portion comprising a left inside projection and a right inside projection on which a water jet exert pressure. These projections are adapted to create momentum which aids the steering of the watercraft.
