The invention is directed to a process for multilayer coating of substrates which comprises a) applying a filler layer of a filler coating composition to a substrate, b) curing the resultant filler layer by irradiation with high energy radiation and c) applying a top coat layer to the cured filler layer and curing the top coat layer, whereby the filler coating composition comprises A) at least one binder capable of free-radical polymerization having fewer than three olefinic double bonds per molecule, B) at least one ester of alpha,beta-olefinically unsaturated monocarboxylic acids capable of free- radical polymerization having one olefinic double bond per molecule and C) at least one compound having at least one phosphoric acid group.

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de revêtement multicouche de substrats comprenant les étapes consistant à a) appliquer une couche de charge d'une composition de revêtement de charge sur un substrat ; b) traiter la couche de charge résultante par exposition à un rayonnement haute énergie ; et c) à appliquer une couche de revêtement de finition sur la couche de charge traitée, puis à traiter cette couche de revêtement de finition. La composition de revêtement de charge comprend : A) au moins un liant pouvant subir une polymérisation radicalaire et présentant moins de trois liaisons doubles oléfiniques par molécule ; B) au moins un ester d'acides monocarboxyliques à insaturation alpha,bêta-oléfinique, pouvant subir une polymérisation radicalaire, et présentant une liaison double oléfinique par molécule ; et C) au moins un composé comportant au moins un groupe acide phosphorique.
