The invention relates to an adapter coupling for connecting a hose or such like to a tap. Said coupling comprises a coupling sleeve (2) which serves to connect the hose to the tap, has a connecting piece (3) for the hose and in its interior (7) is able to receive the water-dispensing end (4) of the water outlet (5) of the tap, as well as a sealing ring (11) which in the proximity of the free, tap-side edge (8) of the coupling sleeve (2) contacts said coupling sleeve (2) on the inside in a sealing manner and has an annular base part (12) from whose internal area an elastic sealing cup (16), which points approximately in the direction of insertion (6) and is tapered towards the centre, extends into the interior of the coupling sleeve (7). At its free edge (19) said sealing cup forms an opening (40) through which the end (4) of the tap outlet (5) is inserted so that the sealing cup (16) is expanded during insertion of the water outlet (5) and after the water-dispensing end (4) has been fully introduced contacts the outer surface of the water outlet (5) in a sealing manner.

L'invention concerne un accouplement adaptateur qui permet de raccorder un tuyau ou élément similaire à un robinet. L'accouplement comprend un manchon d'accouplement (2) permettant le raccordement avec le robinet, qui comporte un raccord (3) pour le tuyau et peut recevoir l'extrémité de distribution (4) d'eau de l'orifice de sortie (5) d'eau du robinet dans son espace interne (7); et un joint d'étanchéité (11) qui, près du bord (8) du manchon (2) situé du côté robinet, est en contact étanche avec l'intérieur de ce dernier, et comporte un corps de base (12) annulaire. De la zone interne dudit corps part une coupelle d'étanchéité élastique (16), dirigée sensiblement dans le sens d'introduction (6) et inclinée vers le centre, qui s'étend dans l'espace interne (7) du manchon. La coupelle forme au niveau de son bord libre (19) un orifice (40) dans lequel on introduit l'extrémité (4) du robinet, de façon que ladite coupelle (16) s'élargisse après introduction de l'extrémité (4) dudit robinet puis, après insertion complète, appuie de manière étanche à la surface de la chemise externe de l'orifice de sortie (5) d'eau.
