A B S T R A C T A dissector, in particular for endoscopic surgery, wherein the dissector comprises: a cannula; a support strip placed in the cannula and formed by an elongate rod that is longer than the cannula; a control element capable of moving in translation relative to the support strip and provided with a control finger extending transversely to its direction of translation; and two blades carried by the strip, with at least one of the blades being hinged to the strip and having a ramp that slopes relative to the translation direction of the control element, and on which the control finger bears, such that displacing the control element in translation relative to the support strip causes relative pivoting between the two blades whose blunt outside edges are adapted to cleaving.
