A driven unit for a continuously-variable-ratio drive, having a fixed half-pulley assembly having a fixed half- pulley connected to an output member of the drive; a movable half-pulley assembly having a movable half-pulley mounted to slide axially with respect to the fixed half-pulley to form with it a V-shaped groove of variable width for a V-shaped belt; and a spring which forces the half-pulleys towards each other to keep the half-pulleys in contact with the belt; the fixed half-pulley assembly has one or more threaded through axial holes in which to screw respective screws, which cooperate with an annular surface axially facing the holes in the fixed half-pulley assembly to exert thrust on the surface and part the half-pulleys in opposition to the spring.
