The invention concerns a device (10) comprising a knitted article, such as a stocking, sock or tights with a leg portion designed to be urged into skin contact with the lower limb. It comprises, at least over part of its surface in contact with the lower limb, an electrically conductive knitted zone (24) connected to a muscle stimulation generator terminal (12). The height of the conductive zone (24) is defined so as to cover a large area of a selected region of the lower limb, in particular the calf, the thigh or the foot region, and the knitted fabric mesh of said conductive zone includes an electrically conductive weft yarn or base yarn. Advantageously, the mesh and the yarns of said article are selected so as to form a compression orthosis, designed to deliver a tapering retention from the ankle.
Ce dispositif (10) comprend un article tricoté de type bas, chaussette ou collant avec un partie de jambe apte à venir en contact cutané avec le membre inférieur. Il comprend, au moins sur une partie de sa surface en contact avec le membre inférieur, une zone tricotée électriquement conductrice (24) reliée à une borne d~un générateur d~électromyostimulation (12). La hauteur de la zone conductrice (24) est définie de manière à couvrir une large étendue d~un région choisie du membre inférieur, notamment la région du mollet, de la cuisse ou du pied, et la maille du tricot de cette zone conductrice inclut un fil de trame ou un fil de fond électriquement conducteur. Avantageusement, la maille et les fils de cet article sont choisis de manière à former une orthèse compressive, apte à délivrer une contention thérapeutique dégressive depuis la cheville.
