A stent includes a stent body (1) having a circumference, a diameter of between approximately 4 mm and approximately 12 mm, in particular, 8 mm, and a length of between approximately 10 mm and approximately 250 mm, in. particular, 150 mm, and struts disposed helically about the circumference in turns (4). Substantially circumferentially oriented connecting bridges (8) connect respectively adjacent ones of the turns. A method for manufacturing a helical stent includes the steps of providing a stent body with struts disposed about the circumference thereof in turns and with bridges connecting the struts in adjacent turns. The stent body is expanded and, thereafter, some of the bridges, in particular, sacrificial bridges, are removed.
La présente invention concerne un stent comportant un corps de stent (1) présentant une circonférence, un diamètre d'entre environ 4 mm et environ 12 mm, en particulier, 8 mm, et une longueur d'entre environ 10 mm et environ 250 mm, en particulier, 150 mm, et des entretoises venant hélicoïdalement autour de la circonférence en tours d'enroulement (4). Des ponts de liaison orientés sensiblement selon le sens de la circonférence (8) relient respectivement les tours d'enroulement. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de stent hélicoïdal par lequel on part d'un corps de stent pourvu d'entretoises formant des tours d'enroulement autour de sa circonférence et de ponts reliant les entretoises des tours adjacents. Le corps de stent est déployé, et, à la suite, certains des ponts, en particulier les ponts sacrificiels, sont retirés.
