A carrier (10) for beverage cups. A support panel (12) includes openings (16) for receiving beverage cups and a handle panel (14) is foldably connected to the support panel along a centerline. The carrier is of two-ply construction, with the top ply of the support panel including a tab (62) extending into each cup opening for contacting a cup and assisting in maintaining the cup in a more upright position. The carrier is formed from a one-piece blank.
