In a mini C-arm x-ray imaging system in which an x-ray source (22) and detector (23) are mounted at opposite ends of a C-shaped track (32) which is supported for sliding orbital movement along its axis of curvature for positioning the source and detector in relation to an object (30) to be imaged, a locking mechanism including a brake shoe bearing against the track, a screw and nut carried by the track-supporting structure (54) for moving the shoe toward and away from the track, a resilient bias acting between the shoe and the screw to urge the shoe toward the track, a handle (60) for turning the screw to move the shoe and a detent acting between the handle and the support structure to provide a plurality of discrete settings for the handle, respectively representing incrementally different forces exerted by the shoe against the track.
Cette invention concerne un mini système d'imagerie radiologique à bras en C dans lequel une source (22) et un détecteur (23) de rayons X sont montés sur les extrémités opposées d'une piste (32) en forme de C maintenue pour permettre un déplacement orbital coulissant le long de son axe de courbure, de manière à positionner la source et le détecteur par rapport à un objet (30) à imager, un mécanisme de verrouillage comprenant une semelle de frein reposant sur la piste, une vis et un écrou portés par la structure de soutien (54) de la piste permettent de déplacer la semelle de frein vers la piste et inversement, une sollicitation souple opérant entre la semelle et la vis permet de pousser la semelle vers la piste, une poignée (60) permet de tourner la vis pour déplacer la semelle, et enfin, un ergot opérant entre la poignée et la structure de support permet d'effectuer plusieurs réglages distincts de la poignée, représentant respectivement différentes forces incrémentielles exercées par la semelle sur la piste.
