Hot-curing, foamable reactive compositions based on natural and/or synthetic rubbers containing olefinic double bonds, vulcanizing agents and blowing agents with a high percentage content of sulfur give foamed rubber compositions exhibiting high structural strength and high volume expansion. These compositions are suitable as multifunctional filling materials for hollow structures or hollow profiles in vehicle or machine construction. At one and the same time, they perform a sealing function, damp acoustic vibration and stiffen the hollow structures to a considerable extent.
Ces compositions réactives durcissables à chaud et expansibles, à base de caoutchoucs naturels et/ou synthétiques qui contiennent des liaisons doubles oléfines, des agents vulcanisants et des agents d'expansion à haute teneur en soufre permettent d'obtenir des caoutchoucs expansés ayant une résistance structurale élevée et une importante dilatation cubique. Ces compositions sont utilisées comme matériaux multifonctionnels de remplissage de corps ou de profilés creux dans la construction d'automobiles ou de machines. Elles assurent en même temps une fonction d'étanchéité, une fonction d'amortissement des vibrations acoustiques et un renforcement important des corps creux.
